Autistic Youth Hub is a collective and community made for and by autistic young adults aged 18*-30.
We don’t discriminate when it comes to diagnosis; whether formal, awaiting, self-identified, or just working it out, we uplift and bolster one another as we explore and celebrate autistic culture and ways of being.
We have a wide range of backgrounds and identities, and operate as a secular space. We’re queer and trans affirming, and stand firmly against bigotry of any kind.
Some of us have ADHD, or processing differences like dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dyspraxia, but we are not learning disabled. We have members who are hypermobile and/or spoonies. There are those of us who have experienced autistic burnout, and those who live with mental health challenges or other disabilities.
To us, autism is a difference, not a deficit. While peer support and mentoring can be fundamental to helping us thrive as individuals, we can create, collaborate, and exist both independently and autonomously. We can lead others if we choose to. Every member is free to decide how they contribute their talents, perspectives, and time with no expectations from us.
While physically based in Croydon, South London, our online community includes people from across the UK—and even beyond—driven by a shared passion and united purpose: autistic joy.
